Hindi is one of the official languages spoken in India. Supposedly, this program lets you translate texts from Hindi to English and vice versa.
All this may sound good; nevertheless, I wasn't able to actually test the program. Since it uses Google translate to work, you need to enter an API for that service, for which you need to pay. Since I didn't have any GT API, I couldn't translate anything or check the program accuracy and speed. Also, I couldn't even use the Help file.
This is a major drawback. First, you need to purchase the program, and then you need to pay for the GT API. This increases the cost of the whole service. Besides, I couldn't help but ask myself, what is the point of purchasing a program that uses an otherwise free service such as Google Translate? Wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to simply copy the text you want to translate and convert it into these, or any other languages, using the free Google Translate service? Frankly, I can't see any advantage in purchasing such a program.
Pros
- Its interface is intuitive and easy to use
Cons
- The shareware version does not allow to test the program. You need a Google Translate API to use the program
